I also got 2 bottle from the distributor direct cost RM 52 per bottle. but have not change yet as 6 months ago, I put in 3L Toyota coolant into my radiator. So far ok, only feel very hot. Thinking to cool it down using water wetter. While RO water can get through the water machine (by shop), put in 20 cents, get 1L. Thinking to do it today..
i dont mean to potong jalan or anything, but that direct distributor cost $$$ la.... I got Water Wetter for my car from Eunos in Kepong Jusco for RM48. Same price in Eunos 1Utama.... maybe they put wrong price sticker?
Can anybody explain to me what is the different with water wetter and coolant? are they same function or which 1 is better to put into the radiator? thanks....

Any good coolant will do. Just don't buy RM7.00 per bottle coolant. Get the proven coolant in the market. I used Redline for my Nissan Serena which you can buy at Jaya Jusco Enios for RM48.00 per bottle. One year ago, I sold my Nissan Serena and get a 2nd hand Naza Ria and the Korean foreman ask me to use Lubeguard. I agree to use since its been highly recommended by Dr X. Its not cheap. You can get it at most of spare part shop. When our engine is hot, the surface between the coolant and engine block will create air bubble just like our heating element in our kettle when we boiled water. This air bubble will block heat transfer from the engine to coolant. Good coolant will make those bubble smaller resulting more surface contact between the coolant and the engine block.
Below is a video explanation how redline make our coolant more efficient.

Do you mean that we can mix the coolant with redline water wetter and put in the radiotor? not just put redline water wetter only in the radiotor? how much for the lubeguard? so u just put lubeguard for ur Naza Ria? no more use redline? thanks...

Hi,
Quite sometime i never post in this forum, i just want to share with you all on another option where we can upgrade our radiator. Below is one of the performance radiator that being used for those who modified their engine for better cooling. This also can be applied to ngv fitted car.

fltai8091, my Naza Ria using lubeguard now but somehow I feel Redline is better (my personal opinion). Redline no need to mix with normal coolant....just Redline and water will do. I bottle for small car.....if possible 2 bottle for SUV or MPV....emmmmmm....2 bottle redline for RM100....emmmmm....expensive lor.

Hi FLtai,
Sorry for a simple posting. Ok the idea is to upgrade your radiator to the performance radiator. This radiator transfer heat better then OEM radiator. People who modified their car always go to this type of radiator for a better cooling system. Usually turbo charged, supercharged and also honda owners used these type of radiator.
The picture i show above is a performance radiator made using alluminium for a better cooling. Thickness of the radiator is 40mm and that is y there is SonyEricsson K800i on top of it to show the thickness of the radiator so that everybody can compared to their original radiator. Picture of the radiator is for Honda EG/EK but also can be used to Proton Wira/Iswara.
I do hope everybody understand and if not pls ask. Happy to shares with everybody.

Because of the cooling fan stop functioning. My car engine was overheated few times. (the temperature meter run in red zone) What are the damage will it cause by overheating? What are the repair needed to rectify the damage? (do i need to change piston, piston ring?) thanks. (note: I don't feel any problem with my car engine, except it vibrate strong when the rpm is around 1500 - 2000..... some kind of resonant.)
(new update after 7 months) Few week ago I was driving in the North-South highway (12:00 midnight) and the water pipe leakage, all water coolant leakout until the temperature indicator pointing to red. Stopped in tempat rehat and wait for engine cool down than refill water than continue driving. But after few KM temperature indicator pointing to red again...still far away from next tempat rehat. I have no choice...continue driving until finally the engine stopped. Park at the road side wait it cooldown...than try to start engine but could not start. Try many time still could not start. (3:00am) I have no choice except wait untill morning 7:00 am call tow car for help. Tow to nearby town workshop repair. And repair my car cost me a bomb!
note: later find out than the water leakage is because sludge/rust clogged the water pipe causing the water pressure increase and that bust the rubber water pipe.

yup... very happy with it. What I did (DIY) was flush with pipe water & some OEM radiator flush liquid. Then 3-4 flush cycle with Distilled water (got the 5.5L distilled Carre Four brand). Last filled distilled water + 1 bottle Water Wetter.
I dont have a specific water temp gauge, but can see from the dashboard temp gauge, last time its at 2nd level, now its lower... at abt 1.8 level.
Do u mind to share with me what is the step to flush our radiator by ourself? i wish to do it myself next time..thanks 1st..

I recently just sent my car for the radiator cleaning. The radiator workshop uses metal strips to clean the corrosion debris from all the holes. My car now achieving better mileage than before. The NGV savings may be caused by the engine fan not being turned on more regularly as before. I have tried the radiator flushing with Flush Machine last year but no significant improvement was observed. It looks like only the traditional radiator cleaning method helps to clear the radiator clogging. FYI, Naza Ria is using the Dual row radiator.

Alanlai, I recon you to install external water temp meter as the ori meter is does not show temp high even there's something wrong with the cooling system...happen to me last time. For Naza ria owner, make sure you keep the cooling system at top cond.......overheating will cost you a bomb for repair...
