Try clear your Engine ECU and Gearbox ECU as it has adapt to the power and ways of your driving style plus NGV power.
Cheap ways to do so is ... unplug your battery over night.

geoffreylee, not all car can unplug the battery. If unplug, the car might not able to start anymore. Some car from Kia, BMW or even merz are not allow to unplug the bettery. Better check with the sevice centre first.....

My Kancil 850 (Carburator), NGV kits is mixer type also have this kind of power loss problem. My Installer said that it is because there is still petrol residue in the carburator that causing the problem. normally i don't do the switchig (from petrol to gas) when (1) in traffic jam or slow moving traffic road (2) road with many traffic light. normally only in highway/fast moving road, i will do the switching (from petrol to gas).
Another way to solve this is when the power loss happen, stop my car at the roadside and restart the engine, press the acceleration padel until the engine running smooth. Than everything become ok after that. Anyways most of the time i make sure i have enough gas in tank so that i don't need to do the switching.

Hi viosngverted,
I hav experience on that matters. My cars , Gen2 Campro also having a problem of power loss when using petrol. Last month, my car already brakedown due to valve seat recession ( VSR ) n the mechanic said that campro engine will suffer this problem and i had to do top overhaul n cost me nearly to RM 1000. The mechanics also said that his also done one of toyota vios due to VSR n said ngv user need to suffer the problem coz by ngv.
Hopefully, u send ur car to workshop n request their advise n check ur engine performance.
Hav a try first.
Good Luck

mican76, did u use any lubricant like FlashLube on your Gen2? How long (time & km) u been using NGV before VSR set in?

Hi monster,
About 1 n 1/2 year after that i got this problem. Actually, I not using any Flaslube or anything, but from the mechanics said those campro engine will suffer this problem no matter they use flashlube or what...He said also that flaslube actuallay not so much help n u just need to alternate using petrol n gas esps. during the morning & night time.
Im using sequential type, Tomasetto Achille n right now i just switch on to petrol everytime on morning n night about 5-10 min the after that using the gas mode.

emmmmmm.....after spending thousand of ringgit on the NGV kit and line up for gas just to save some money, at the end.....all the saving end up with engine repair....than what's the point of converting our car to NGV?

Can anyone enlighten me what is the first sign that VSR is settling in? Loss of power? Had been on NGV for 1 year 4 months on my Naza Citra. Using EVP as lubricant.

loss of compression, power loss. Can't really be confirmed unless you perform a compression test on your cylinders.

I'm using Waja Campro too for 2 years and ~90kKM clocked using NGV, but still running strong with petrol and gas. Funny how does the VSR happen? Look like not milage or campro problem, my gues if the lubricated use...I'm using mobile 1 5-50W, so far so good.

Mobil 1 don't lubricate top cyclinder. another reason is the driving habit. You drive with RPM lower than 3000?

Your driving rpm is quite high. For me normal driving always below 3000rpm. Sometimes drive at around 3000rpm to 3200rpm but that is not frequent. So far same power as day 1 install NGV. Perform normal maintenance and no problem at all only. Have to check battery and radiator more frequent to top up water. Also using properly gapped spark plugs help minimize power loss. Using Caltex Havoline engine oil 15-40W and no extra valve lubricant used.
