Have you tried changing your spark plug? I used to have this symptoms in my early days of NGV. It seems that NGV is too sensitive to spark quality. Even if your petrol mode is OK it doesn't mean that it's OK for MGV mode.
FYI, I'm now using Bosch Super 4, 2nd set since last year I installed NGV.

Dear Monster,
It has almost been 1 Year you are using CNG. It is very likely that you are a heavy user, refilling gas on a daily basis. In such manner, you will experience jerking during usage.
Here is the possible causes of your car jerking on CNG.
Reducer/Regulator It is clear that your reducer/regulator contain oil residue from your gas refilling. This is clogging up the internal chambers of the Stage 1, 2 and slightly on 3. In other words, you need to have your reducer SERVICE, open it up, removal oil residue, check for any damage and etc.
Oil Residue reduces the gas volume output, which can result in car jerk (or choking). The excessive oil is drowning the reducer, subsequently it can't effective to reduce/lower the gas pressure. Your car is NOT getting enough gas or TOO much (after retuning, as it gets worse - MORE OIL being filled in).
Hot Water circulation In addition, it can be observed that your reducer does not have any hot water recirculated. The de-compression of pressure gas get cold, freezing the oil residue in your reducer. This acts as a GAS CLOG, like an iced oil crystal blocking the air ways, holes and pipe line.
Solution: Have your REDUCER service. Of course, your cylinder will be full of oil too.
Cylinder Oil Test: Use a 20cent Coin and tap on your cylinder bottom and top. You will notice a solid sound at the bottom, signaling oil residue and hollow-sound at the top. This is how we know whether your reducer will be oil-full or oil-free.
If it is a Pelmag reducer, you have a problem with the Gas Solenoid Spring unit. Have it stretched out. Normally, it is the above.
A reply by Dr Xander Thong by email, due to unresolved over a long period. Upon our request (administrator).

Try change the spark plugs, check your distributor and also do check your spark plugs cable.
Mine is was caused by old and weak distributor.

Do you intend to install NGV system onto your Alza ? I'm thinking of removing my Alza's 3rd row seat & install 2x70L tanks. The 3rd row seat can't be useful anyway as its too cramp for my children to sit. With these 2x70L tanks, Alza may be able to travel up to 500KM on highway.
