Just visited Proton Technology Fair today in Shah Alam Section 26 Plant.
A very educational tour.

According to one of their R & D engineer, Proton will be lauching their first NGV end of 2008. It is installed in their Proton Saga 1.6 .
Installed with Sequential System from USA, 60 litre tank. It is bi-fuel capable of running 200km per full tank. The Engineer said the vehicle had been tested successfully before they launch it into the market by year end. I have taken some photo, but I do not know how to upload here. Please advise on the photo uploading.

They also have a prototype Proton Waja , sequential system and 160 litres tank ( 5 tanks ). It is a mono fuel vehicle. It will not launched into the market until NGV station is easily available through out the nation. I have also taken some photos of these vehicle.

Any idea whether the Saga with NGV will be on sale to the public or only as taxis?

5 NGV tank....wow. I wonder what type of tank is that. Is it full fiber tank?
